Join artist and educator Miranda Wildman for a light-filled, exploratory art workshop playing with botanical shadows and watercolor paints, designed for all levels of experience.
Set within an immersive, thoughtfully curated ambience created by Miranda at the Red House Gallery & Studios in Black Mountain, NC, this workshop invites you to slow down, notice, and create.
Together, we’ll experiment with watercolor paints and beautiful mixed media papers, collaborating with light and shadow to make delicate, expressive works of art. These small pieces are perfect for framing or gifting, and you’ll leave with several finished artworks on high-quality paper.
This is a fun, relaxed way to make art—whether you come with new friends, old friends, or on your own. Miranda creates a special playlist to inspire both creative flow and easy conversation, encouraging connection as much as expression.
Everyone is welcome. Miranda is generous with her creative teachings and materials and encourages each participant to work at their own pace, following curiosity rather than rules.
Let the world of light and shadow spark creative expression within you.
All materials provided. Come as you are. Leave inspired, connected, glowing with new ideas, and several pieces of small artworks on high quality mixed media papers. Feel free to bring a drink and snacks.
